Streets and Strangers

She didn’t realize the reputation she had created,

She had become that “edgy bitch you don’t wanna f*** with”

The creator of a dangerous dance

Gliding and drifting among us

Where she went there was no mark left behind,

Existing  too quickly, to passionately to be captured.

But when she begins to feel you, she opens

And of course, who wouldn’t sneak inside..

And then suddenly  something changes, and she softens

Then you cant go back, and that “she” of the unknown is gone

Sure, they all wanted her;

But they don’t want what she wants herself to be wanted as

So you stay In this space of meaningless  banter; as she did daily with streets and strangers

Letting her dance

Freely and alone

Like a breath of furious summer air
